Self Empowerment Series
"Armor, n. The kind of clothing worn by a man whose tailor is a blacksmith." -- Ambrose Bierce
"Blaming is a way to protect your heart, trying to protect what is soft and open and tender in yourself.
Apparently, many of us had blacksmiths for parents and they taught us to put on armor for our protection and it has become a habit. When we think about it, none of us wants to be burdened by the heaviness of armor and yet we don't want to go unprotected, either.
In this workshop, we will learn the difference between armoring and true protection. We will discover where we are armored and learn to release this heavy weight which can actually act as a target for the very sorts of invasiveness we don't want.
We will replace our armor with the light and powerful protection of the spirits. We will get to know the power of our true selves. We will become full of our own vastly expansive light, recognizing the only safety is being in the larger truth of who we are.
